When the sun's 'bout to rise, When darkness sheds its guise, When stars disappear in surprise, I dream of red, I dream of red, . When early birds have gone faraway, When the morning dew melts away, When bustle again begins for the day, I dream of red, I dream of red, . What pain and joy this day may hold, What odd novelties we may behold, What new people may join our fold, I dream of red, I dream of red, . What succour will we bring the poor, What pills for the needy for cure, What skills we need impart for sure, I dream of red, I dream of red, . Where there is lucre and a good mind, Where concern for people is the bind, Where destitutes find people so kind, I dream of red, I dream of red, . Where there is healthy banter and gaiety, Where we meet to help the community, Where something is given back to society, I dream of red, I dream of red...... . . . The Grams’ Laws of execution (Strong Adult content Beware!!!)

Execution for us in India is always a challenge. We come up with the best of plans and designs and conjure up awesome things but fall woefully short, mostly in time to delivery or quality of the work. Oftentimes it is not necessarily for want of resources but of the deep execution DNA - the rigor, the micro detailing and passion for the "checklist" and structured reviews.... But we aren't far away from what I have in mind. But this is more about what happens to people in organisations. Read on.... Many of us, even though we refuse to accept, depend on our colleagues and subordinates to become successful. This is even more true when we come into a new organisation and are struggling to establish ourselves in the first few weeks. We will need specific help from our compatriots to get us started on the job or to show us the way in those incipient days. Many would expect our bosses to help but this seldom happens.
